USAC NOS Midget National Championship
Prior to the season, no woman had ever recorded four fast qualifying times in her entire career.
In what was her Rookie year in 2022, Jade Avedisian of Clovis, Calif. set fast time on four occasions, becoming the all-time series leader in the category at the age of 15. In racing action, she was a star, picking up three top-four results throughout the year.
She led 18 laps and finished third in Ocala, Fla., then grabbed a pair of fourths in midsummer at Nebraska’s Jefferson County Speedway and added one more in late fall at California’s Merced Speedway.
