USAC Silver Crown National Championship
Taylor Ferns made her historical mark on the 2022 USAC Silver Crown season by becoming the first woman to finish on the podium of a USAC Silver Crown event.
During May’s Carb Night Classic at Indianapolis Raceway Park, she collected a career best third place result, then repeated her feat later in the season with another third place run in July at Winchester (Ind.) Speedway.
Earlier in her career, the Shelby Township, Mich. native captured USAC’s D1 Midget championship.
